Good luck tracking down the stolen goods. Just wanted to let you know that you got the Crimestoppers number wrong in your post - it is 0800 555 111. People can also report information anonymously on the Crimestoppers website at http://www.crimestoppers-uk.org.

A'h Crimestoppers !!

Now, could someone elighten me ?

Crimestoppers allows anonymous people to give information and then, if it proves to be successful, Crimestoppers will give out a password and the informant can go to a High street bank and collect a reward anonymously.

Maximum Crimestoppers reward is £1,000.

However, Crimestoppers is breaching sections 21, 23, 24 and 25 of the 1968 theft act when they pay a reward anonymously.

How can Crimestoppers be allowed to continuely break the law and not be answerable ??
